Purpose of the accounting career assessment:

This assessment is being documented and presented with an objective of serving those individuals who intends to initiate a career in the field of accounting. This is a wide field and provides diverse opportunities to the aspirants according to their job prerequisites and educational qualification.

Methods implemented for carrying out a career assessment process in the field of accountancy:

  • The first and foremost important method is determining the participant’s highest degree of educational qualification and identifying whether it matches with the expectation of the particular field.
  • A psychological test is being performed to assess the actual devotion of the participant towards acquiring a job position on the field of accountancy.
  • A basic skill test is being performed to gauge the knowledge and competency of the participant required for exploring an accounting career.

Result obtained from accounting career assessment:

Through assessment of various aspects, it has been found that the participant do have basic knowledge about the various functions performed in this field but requires specific and specialized knowledge for exploring an accounting career further.
