In certain parts of the world, women are highly deprived or backward in terms of life span and physical or mental well-being. The report should be made strictly on the basis of sound evidence and data.

Besides, lack of technology and superstitious beliefs also play a role in the backward state of women’s health. These perceptions, habits, maternity developments and education taken together form the ultimate foundation of health belief system.

- Osteoporosis and bone fracture
- Menstrual disorders
- Stress and anxiety disorders like Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Panic, Depression
Facts and figures:
The female literacy rate is as low as 50% in the concerned region that directly impinges on the way women think about marriage, child birth and sexual intercourse.
Infant mortality rate is 69% which is a clear indicator of the fact that women are lagging behind in proper care, diet and medicines that are extremely vital for normal and healthy birth of babies.
There is noticeable shortfall of community health centres and workers in the state adding to the woes of the native women.
